Chapuis Frères is an estate based in Pommard and run by brothers Romain and Jean-Guillaume Chapuis. Originally from Burgundy, they have developed an artisanal and independent winemaking approach focusing on natural expression and grape vitality. The estate works as a micro-négoce sourcing grapes from organic or organically farmed vineyards across the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. Winemaking is done with no additives no commercial yeasts often using whole clusters and minimal or no sulfur. The wines are aged in amphorae or old barrels with a minimalist approach that respects each vintage. The resulting cuvées are fresh vibrant and honest with a playful contemporary energy that appeals to a new generation of wine lovers. The Chapuis brothers represent a natural and unpretentious new wave in Burgundy.
