Palmer’s style is marked by captivating aromas of violet, peony, pure blackcurrant, silky blackberry, dark plum, fine chocolate, gentle liquorice and sometimes incense or rose petal. The palate is velvety and broad without heaviness, supported by remarkably fine tannins and a depth that unfolds with fluid grace. The finish is long and enveloping, carried by subtle, persistent freshness.
