Now led by Éric Rousseau, it owns some of the most revered vineyards in the Côte de Nuits, including Chambertin, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, Charmes-Chambertin and Clos Saint-Jacques. Winemaking is traditional, using open-top fermenters, moderate new oak, and a careful search for balance. The wines are both powerful and radiant, marked by restraint, aromatic depth and expressive precision. These are legendary wines, defining elegance at the highest level.
