1968 was a difficult vintage, shaped by unstable weather, frequent rain, and limited sunshine. Ripening was slow and often incomplete, especially for reds. The wines are light, acidic and often thin. Some whites performed slightly better in cooler climates thanks to their natural tension. A delicate, fragile year.
