Terroir & style
Located above the famed Montrachet, on the heights of Puligny-Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet spans about 7.4 hectares. On very stony, shallow soils composed of white marls and pure limestone, Chardonnay reaches an unparalleled level of purity and precision. The color is pale gold with silver highlights. The nose is extremely refined, blending ripe citrus, white flowers, fresh hazelnut, and intense minerality. On the palate, Chevalier-Montrachet is taut, vibrant, brilliant, with a striking length driven by a saline, energetic backbone.

Food pairings
It pairs beautifully with exceptional dishes such as roasted lobster, grilled sole, Bresse chicken in cream sauce, or aged Comté cheese.
