Domaine Armand Heitz, based in Chassagne-Montrachet, represents a new generation of Burgundian winemakers blending family heritage with innovative agricultural practices. Descending from a lineage of wine négociants since 1857, Armand Heitz took over the family estate in 2011 after studying oenology in Switzerland. From the outset, he committed to environmentally respectful viticulture, adopting organic and biodynamic methods, and later embracing agroecology and permaculture. The estate now spans approximately 20 hectares, encompassing prestigious appellations such as Meursault, Pommard, Volnay, and Chevalier-Montrachet. The wines, crafted with minimal intervention, reflect the purity of the terroir, offering elegant and precise expressions of Burgundy's climats.
