Terroir and style
The Graves take their name from their characteristic gravel rich soils mixed with sand and rounded stones over a clay limestone base. This geology shapes red wines defined by smoky finesse, linear structure and mineral freshness, while the whites, mainly Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, show lively tension with aromas of citrus, white flowers and wet stone. The reds offer dark fruit, graphite, blond tobacco and cocoa. The palate is elegant and balanced with precise tannins and a long finish marked by warm earth and flint.

Food pairing
Graves reds pair beautifully with roast lamb, grilled poultry, mushrooms and slow cooked dishes. The whites shine with oysters, grilled fish, creamy poultry dishes and firm cheeses.

Good to know
The Graves form one of Bordeaux’s historical cradles, where climate, soils and early viticulture shaped some of the region’s oldest red and dry white wine styles.

Signature
Graves expresses mineral elegance, combining aromatic depth, straight freshness and the subtle smoky character of its unique terroir.
