Terroir & style
Located in Morey-Saint-Denis, Côte de Nuits, Clos de Tart is a historic monopole covering about 7.5 hectares. Entirely planted with Pinot Noir, it rests on marl-rich clay-limestone soils with an east-southeast exposure. The color is deep garnet. The nose reveals intense aromas of black cherry, blackberry, wilted rose, sweet spices, and undergrowth. On the palate, Clos de Tart impresses with its massive yet elegant structure, superb concentration, mineral depth, and long, silky finish.

Food pairings
Clos de Tart pairs beautifully with noble game, roasted venison, aged beef tenderloin, or powerful cheeses like Époisses.

Founded in the 12th century by the Sisters of Tart, Clos de Tart is one of the rare Grand Crus of Burgundy to have remained a single-owner monopole. It boasts exceptional aging potential, often exceeding 30 years.
