Montrachet is one of Burgundy’s most renowned Grands Crus, straddling Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, covering about 7.99 hectares. Planted on shallow marl-rich clay-limestone soils, perfectly drained and east-facing, this extraordinary terroir produces Chardonnays of unmatched depth and elegance. The wines show a brilliant golden color. The nose reveals complex aromas of white flowers, honey, roasted hazelnut, ripe citrus, and white truffle. On the palate, Montrachet is majestically broad, with a creamy texture, taut minerality, and an endlessly lingering finish.

Food pairings
Perfect with roasted lobster, truffled Bresse chicken, or sole meunière.
