Domaine Croix & Courbet, based in Nevy-sur-Seille in the southern Jura, represents a new wave of producers focused on purity, precision and sincere expression of local varieties. Working mainly with chardonnay, savagnin, trousseau and poulsard on yellow, grey and blue marls, the domaine produces refined wines driven by tension, minerality and careful élevage. The whites display clean citrus, green apple, white flowers and wet stone, with a straight, saline, energetic palate. The savagnins offer greater depth, with dried herbs, citrus zest and occasional light walnut nuances. The reds are delicate and aromatic, with cherry and wild strawberry notes and a fluid texture. Croix & Courbet expresses a bright, precise and very pure vision of the contemporary Jura.
