Château de Beaucastel is one of the most prestigious estates in Châteauneuf du Pape and a historic benchmark of the southern Rhône. Rooted in a terroir of galets roulés, clay, sand and limestone, the domaine is known for using all thirteen permitted grape varieties, with mourvèdre playing a central role in providing structure, freshness and longevity. The reds offer deep aromas of dark fruits, garrigue, sweet spice, fine leather, violet and sometimes a noble animale nuance.
