Domaine Denis Mortet is one of the most iconic names in the Côte de Nuits. Founded in the 1990s in Gevrey-Chambertin by Denis Mortet, the estate quickly gained a stellar reputation for its meticulous vineyard work and precision winemaking. Since 2006, Denis’s son Arnaud has carried on his father’s legacy with the same dedication and an even greater focus on natural balance. The domaine covers around sixteen hectares, mostly in Gevrey-Chambertin, as well as in Chambolle-Musigny and Vougeot, across some of Burgundy’s finest terroirs. Vineyard practices are inspired by biodynamics, emphasizing detail and low yields. In the cellar, winemaking is exacting yet restrained, highlighting fruit purity and terroir depth without excessive extraction or oak. The wines of Domaine Denis Mortet are renowned for their intensity, refinement, and precision, embodying the modern elegance of Gevrey-Chambertin.
