Vintage & style
2022 was a hot, dry and abundant vintage that delivered impressive ripeness and surprisingly good balance. Despite heatwaves and drought conditions in summer, the vines resisted well thanks to spring rains and careful vineyard management. Grapes were ripe, thick-skinned and more acidic than expected. Reds are rich and full-bodied with underlying freshness. Whites show both volume and tension, with saline notes in the best terroirs. A vintage marked by its overall success.

By region
Burgundy: good yields at last, round reds, generous whites
Bordeaux: warm but controlled, bold reds, balanced dry whites
Rhône: generous style, rich south, vivid and structured north
Loire: bright fruit, precise sauvignon, charming reds
Alsace: concentration and balance, promising for cellaring
Champagne: good acidity, ideal ripeness, strong base wines

Good to know
2022 completes a trilogy of warm vintages but stands out for its volume and calm ripening. Early tastings were highly positive.

Signature
2022 expresses generous ripeness under control, solar brilliance and calm maturity in a modern classic.
