Born in Beaune in 1975, Benjamin Leroux did not come from a winemaking family, but his passion for wine led him to enroll at the Beaune viticultural school at the age of 15. After gaining formative experience in Bordeaux, Oregon, and New Zealand, he became the estate manager of Domaine Comte Armand in Pommard at 24. In 2007, he established his own winery in Beaune, combining both domaine and négociant activities. Today, he farms approximately 8 hectares of his own vines and vinifies grapes from over 30 hectares, spanning prestigious appellations across the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. His approach emphasizes organic and biodynamic practices, with minimal intervention in the cellar to express the purity of the terroir. His red and white wines are noted for their precision, elegance, and faithful reflection of each vineyard's identity.
