Terroir & style
Mâcon-Pierreclos is one of the communal designations of the Mâconnais, covering about 150 hectares around the village of Pierreclos. Located on south and southeast-facing slopes, the vineyard lies on stony clay-limestone soils. Mainly planted with Chardonnay, it produces expressive, generous, and vibrant white wines. The color is pale yellow with golden highlights. The nose reveals aromas of white flowers, citrus, ripe pear, and sometimes honey. On the palate, Mâcon-Pierreclos is round, well-balanced in freshness, with a saline finish.

Food pairings
Perfect with grilled salmon, chicken with cream sauce, or fresh goat cheese.

Thanks to its stony, well-exposed terroir, Mâcon-Pierreclos delivers some of the clearest and sunniest expressions of Chardonnay in the Mâconnais.
