The style of Haut Bailly is marked by precise aromas of blackcurrant, dark raspberry, rose petals, blond tobacco, cedar, graphite and sometimes fine chocolate or dried flowers. The palate is straight, velvety and driven by tannins of great distinction, with a long and subtly tense finish. Haut Bailly never seeks power for its own sake but rather harmony, offering a quiet depth that unfolds gradually. With age, the wine gains nobility, suppleness and floral complexity, representing the most refined and poetic face of the Graves.
