Domaine Robert Denogent is one of the most admired producers in the Mâconnais and a key reference for expressive, deep and finely chiselled Chardonnay. Based in Fuissé, the domaine is a family run estate led by Jean Jacques and Nicolas Robert, who continue the meticulous work established by their mother Jocelyne and their grandfather Robert Denogent. The vineyard spans around eight hectares across Pouilly Fuissé, Saint Véran and Mâcon Fuissé, with many vines of considerable age, some over seventy years old. Viticulture follows an organic yet uncertified approach, focused on manual work, low yields and carefully balanced ripeness. In the cellar, winemaking is natural and patient, relying on long fermentations and extended barrel ageing that often lasts several winters, bringing depth, density and an unmistakably noble texture.
