Vintage & style
2018 was a generous, sunny vintage that surprised many with its balance despite the heat. Following a wet, stormy spring, the long dry summer ripened fruit exceptionally well. Harvest extended into late September under ideal conditions. Grapes were ripe, thick-skinned and well-balanced. Reds are powerful and sun-kissed, yet often retain lift and freshness. Whites are more variable but often rich, tense and expressive.

By region
Burgundy: ample harvest, concentrated reds, generous whites
Bordeaux: rich, ripe reds with smooth tannins, balanced dry whites
Rhône: full-bodied vintage, ripe south, soft-textured north
Loire: opulent whites, structured but elegant reds
Alsace: high yields, concentrated and aromatic wines
Champagne: rare balance of quantity and quality, clean base wines

Good to know
2018 delivered both quantity and quality, a rare combination. Extract management was key. Some wines may appear rich young but will refine with age.

Signature
2018 expresses controlled abundance, ripe warmth and noble generosity in a luminous vintage.
