Domaine Thibert is one of the leading estates in the Mâconnais, based in Fuissé and known for its precise, rigorous and deeply respectful approach to Chardonnay. Founded in the 1960s, the domaine is now run by siblings Christophe and Sandrine Thibert, who have elevated it to one of the most consistent and elegant producers in the region. The vineyard extends over about thirty hectares across Fuissé, Vergisson, Davayé and Prissé, with parcels located on limestone slopes that contribute mineral energy and aromatic finesse. Viticulture is sustainable and meticulously managed, with careful manual work and controlled yields. In the cellar, winemaking focuses on purity and balance, combining vats and barrels depending on the cuvée, with élevage aimed at preserving tension, precision and depth. Wines from Domaine Thibert are recognised for their brightness, linearity, harmonious structure and their ability to clearly express the singular character of the Mâconnais’ finest terroirs.
