Château Lynch Bages is one of Pauillac’s most renowned and generous estates, defined by savoury power, warmth and an impressive ability to unite richness with approachability. Located on deep gravel mounds mixed with sand and clay, the vineyard offers a robust terroir that allows cabernet sauvignon to ripen fully and consistently. Lynch Bages’ style is marked by intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, plum, cedar, blond tobacco, graphite, fine pepper and sometimes dark chocolate or subtle leather. The palate is broad and vigorous, supported by ripe, enveloping tannins and generous density, balanced by steady freshness that reflects the terroir. The wine has a bold, reassuring, almost sunlit character, while maintaining the Pauillac signature of structure and straightness. With age, Lynch Bages gains aromatic softness, complexity and harmony, becoming one of the most beloved and reliable wines of the appellation.
