Domaine Leflaive is one of the most prestigious names in Puligny-Montrachet and an undisputed benchmark for the finest white wines of Burgundy. Founded in the early twentieth century by Joseph Leflaive, the estate’s modern identity was shaped by successive generations, most notably Anne-Claude Leflaive, who played a pivotal role in the adoption of biodynamic viticulture in the 1990s. The vineyard extends over roughly twenty-four hectares almost entirely in Puligny-Montrachet, including several premier crus and iconic parcels of Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet and Bâtard-Montrachet. Viticulture is conducted with great respect for soil life and aims to reveal the energy and precision of Puligny’s limestone terroirs. In the cellar, winemaking combines delicacy and precision, with carefully judged ageing that preserves aromatic purity, tension and depth. The white wines of Domaine Leflaive are admired for their brightness, harmonious texture and exceptional ageing potential, offering a luminous and expressive interpretation of the Côte de Beaune’s greatest terroirs.
