Domaine Dauvissat is one of the most iconic and respected estates in Chablis. Founded at the turn of the 20th century, it remains a family-run domaine, now under the direction of Vincent Dauvissat, who continues the legacy of his father René with the same dedication and deep respect for the terroir. The domaine covers about eleven hectares across Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, and Chablis Grand Cru appellations, including the renowned Les Clos and Les Preuses vineyards. Farming is organic in practice, though not certified, with meticulous attention paid to vine health and the mineral expression of the Kimmeridgian soils. Winemaking follows traditional methods with natural yeasts and ageing partly in old oak barrels, ensuring purity and transparency. The wines of Domaine Dauvissat are renowned for their tension, intensity, and precision, representing the very essence of great Chablis.
