Château Prieuré Lichine is one of Margaux’s most supple, charming and immediately approachable wines, shaped by aromatic elegance, textural finesse and the sensuality that defines the appellation’s style. The vineyard spans fine gravel mixed with clay and sand, allowing cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot to achieve gentle ripeness and a velvety mouthfeel. Prieuré Lichine is characterised by aromas of ripe blackcurrant, juicy raspberry, silky blackberry, peony, violet, fine cedar and sometimes gentle spices or light tobacco. The palate is fluid, elegant and harmonious, carried by fine, integrated tannins that create a naturally soft impression. The finish is long, smooth and perfumed, with the airy character so typical of Margaux. With age, the wine gains deeper floral notes, refined forest floor nuances and a satin like texture. It is a Margaux of charm, balance and delicacy.
