Domaine d’Auvenay is one of Burgundy’s most legendary estates. Founded by Lalou Bize-Leroy in the late 1980s, it takes its name from the small hamlet near Saint-Romain where she lives, in the Côte de Beaune. Complementing Domaine Leroy, d’Auvenay represents the pinnacle of Burgundian viticulture and winemaking. Farmed entirely under biodynamic principles, the vineyards are tended with extraordinary precision, each vine treated as a living organism. Yields are minuscule, and cellar work is carried out with absolute purity, using natural fermentations and long, uncompromising ageing.
