On deep gravelly and clay-limestone soils, the reds develop a generous and approachable style. The color is bright ruby. The nose reveals aromas of cherry, redcurrant, peony, and light spices. On the palate, the wines are supple, fruity, round, with good freshness and very fine tannins. A small amount of Chardonnay is also planted, producing lively, delicate whites with floral and citrus notes.

Food pairings
The reds pair perfectly with roasted white meats, veal roast, grilled poultry, and mild cheeses. The few whites match well with seafood, grilled fish, and fresh cheeses.
