The family’s parcellaire approach has revealed a crystalline, intimate expression of the region’s whites. The wines show pure notes of citrus, white apple, fine florals and wet stone, with some cuvées showing a light lactic nuance. The palate is tense, saline and energetic, with remarkable finesse. The reds, from trousseau, pinot noir and poulsard, are delicate and aromatic, with cherry, wild strawberry and soft spice, carried by a very airy texture. Labet stands for transparency, precision and a deeply honest expression of the Jura’s southern terroirs.
