Domaine Pierre Girardin represents the new generation of Meursault and has quickly become one of the most promising names in the Côte de Beaune. Son of Vincent Girardin, Pierre founded his own domaine at just twenty one years old, drawing on family vineyard heritage and a clear, modern and terroir focused vision. The estate consists of a little over five hectares complemented by carefully selected purchased grapes, allowing for a broad range of wines spanning Meursault, Puligny Montrachet, Pommard and Vosne Romanée. Viticulture is based on close observation of the soils, perfectly judged ripeness and attentive care for each parcel. In the cellar, winemaking is highly precise, aiming for purity, brightness and energy, with measured ageing that enhances texture and minerality. Wines from Domaine Pierre Girardin are recognised for their freshness, sophistication and contemporary style, while remaining faithful to Burgundy’s heritage, showcasing the talent of a gifted new generation.
