Domaine Matrot is one of the historic estates of Meursault and a key reference in the Côte de Beaune for both white and red wines. Founded in the early twentieth century, the domaine developed its identity under André Matrot and subsequent generations, who shaped a style defined by precision, purity and deep respect for terroir. Now run by sisters Elsa and Adèle Matrot, the estate covers just over twenty hectares across Meursault, Puligny Montrachet, Auxey Duresses, Monthelie and Beaune. Viticulture is attentive and thoughtful, grounded in careful soil management and a commitment to maintaining natural vine balance. In the cellar, winemaking is delicate and restrained, with gentle extraction and measured ageing that highlight minerality and aromatic clarity.
