Domaine Fourrier is one of the most respected producers in Gevrey-Chambertin and a benchmark for the Côte de Nuits. Founded in the 1930s by Fernand Pernot, the estate was taken over by his grandson Jean-Marie Fourrier in 1994, following his training at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Jean-Marie revitalized the domaine while maintaining its artisanal and family spirit. The vineyards cover around ten hectares, mostly in Gevrey-Chambertin, including prestigious parcels such as Combe aux Moines, Clos Saint-Jacques and Griotte-Chambertin. Viticulture is entirely natural, with no chemical inputs and very low yields. In the cellar, winemaking is minimalist, relying on native yeasts and minimal use of new oak. The wines of Domaine Fourrier are admired for their purity, precision and aromatic intensity, offering a profound and elegant expression of Gevrey-Chambertin’s finest terroirs.
