The Fruitière Vinicole d’Arbois is one of the Jura’s most historic and emblematic cooperatives, founded in 1906 and still a cornerstone of the Arbois region. Its growers cultivate vines on the classic red, grey and blue marl soils, producing wines that reflect a faithful, traditional expression of local varieties. The whites, mainly chardonnay and savagnin, show clean aromas of citrus, apple, white flowers and, in certain cuvées, walnut or light oxidative notes. The reds, made from poulsard, trousseau and pinot noir, offer fresh cherry, wild strawberry, gentle spice and light earthiness, with an accessible, fluid texture. These are honest, precise wines that capture the essential, traditional character of the Jura.
