Benoît Moreau is a winemaker based in Saint-Aubin in the Côte de Beaune. After many years working at the family estate Moreau & Fils alongside his brother Pierre, he launched his own domaine starting with the 2017 vintage. He farms around five hectares across appellations such as Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet including top sites like En Remilly and Les Champs Gain. His approach is firmly rooted in organic viticulture with no synthetic inputs and careful soil work. In the cellar fermentations are natural and ageing is slow and precise with minimal intervention. His white wines are marked by crystalline tension mineral energy and a very pure expression of terroir. Benoît Moreau represents a quiet but gifted new generation who brings authenticity and finesse to the white wines of the Côte de Beaune.
