Reds dominated by Grenache with Syrah and Mourvèdre reveal black fruit, plum, sweet spice, garrigue, pepper and hints of cocoa. The palate is broad, firm and slightly more rustic and earthy than Gigondas, with ripe, compact tannins. Whites and rosés, less common, show white flowers, yellow fruit and supple texture. The overall style is generous, grounded and distinctly Mediterranean.
