Domaine Gangloff, based in Condrieu and Côte Rôtie, is one of the northern Rhône’s most admired and expressive estates. Yves Gangloff became known for crafting wines with radiant sensuality, combining power and finesse with a distinctive artistic touch. The steep granite slopes of Condrieu and Ampuis give rise to viognier and syrah of remarkable personality. The whites from Condrieu show intense aromas of ripe apricot, white peach, orange blossom, light honey and warm stone, with a generous yet vibrant palate. Côte Rôtie reds display violet, blackberry, raspberry, pepper, black olive and sometimes smoky or floral nuances. The palate is deep, velvety and precise, with silky tannins. Gangloff’s style is defined by sensuality, aromatic brilliance and a lively mineral tension.
