Domaine Leroy is one of the most revered and sought-after estates in Burgundy, founded in 1988 by Lalou Bize-Leroy and elevated within a few decades to the status of a global icon. Built from vineyards acquired primarily in the Côte de Nuits, the domaine reflects an uncompromising vision of excellence, grounded in deep terroir understanding and meticulous vineyard work. Biodynamic farming was adopted from the very beginning, guided by a heightened sensitivity to soil balance and the living environment. The vineyard holdings comprise around twenty hectares across some of Burgundy’s greatest climats, including Romanée Saint Vivant, Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot, Clos de la Roche and Musigny. Yields are intentionally very low, and the work in the vines is based on constant observation and a search for harmony. In the cellar, winemaking is gentle and minimally interventionist, focused on preserving fruit integrity and the purest expression of terroir. Wines from Domaine Leroy are known for their intensity, refinement and emotional depth, offering a singular experience that places the domaine at the pinnacle of world viticulture.
