Vintage & Style
2013 was a late, challenging and demanding vintage marked by unpredictable weather. Spring was cold and wet, causing delayed flowering. Summer was warm but uneven and didn’t fully compensate. Harvests were among the latest of the decade, sometimes under rain. The reds are fresh, lively and lightly extracted, often for early to mid-term drinking. The whites are superb: sharp, brilliant and precise.

By Region
Burgundy: tough year, low yields, light reds, razor-sharp whites
Bordeaux: complicated vintage, few successes, some good Right Bank merlots
Rhône Valley: late but solid in the north, variable in the south
Loire: great chenin blancs, tight and pure; reds are discreet
Alsace: successful rieslings and sylvaners, dry and vivid
Champagne: low yields, very acidic and precise base wines

Worth Noting
2013 is a vintage of freshness and selection. While it may lack concentration, it offers vibrant energy and transparent expression, especially in white wines.

Signature
2013 expresses pure tension: a vintage for purists, driven by acidity, finesse and stylistic sincerity.
