Bonnet Ponson, based in Chamery in the Montagne de Reims, is a family domaine now led by Cyril Bonnet, who has shaped the house style toward greater precision, natural farming and clear terroir expression. The organically farmed vineyard spans Chamery, Coulommes la Montagne and Vrigny, three Premier Cru villages with characteristic Petite Montagne soils of sand, clay, chalk and silt. Vinification relies largely on indigenous yeasts, long élevage, minimal sulfur and low dosage. The wines show yellow fruits, ripe apple, delicate red berries, white flowers, fresh hazelnut and wet chalk. The palate is broad, pure and linear, with fine bubbles, integrated tension and a saline finish. Bonnet Ponson’s style is honest, precise and generous, offering an artisanal Champagne with the finesse of the Petite Montagne.
