Jasnières is planted on steep, south facing slopes with tuffeau limestone and flinty clay soils along the Loir valley. This bright, calcareous terroir elevates Chenin Blanc to exceptional purity. The wines show aromas of fresh apple, pear, quince, white flowers, citrus and hints of gunflint. The palate is tense, crystalline and driven by vivid acidity and sharp minerality. The style is dry, precise and vibrant, capable of long ageing with notes of honey, wax and dried fruits.
