Domaine Rousset Martin, based in Nevy-sur-Seille in the southern Jura, is one of the region’s most distinctive and inspired estates. Henri Le Roy crafts profoundly personal wines, balancing strong Jura identity with a precise parcellaire approach. The yellow, grey and blue marl soils allow savagnin and chardonnay to take on a wide range of expressions, often shaped by long élevages, sometimes topped up, sometimes near-voile, giving a broad stylistic spectrum. The whites show ripe fruit, citrus, dried flowers, beeswax, delicate walnut and light spice depending on the cuvée. The palate is broad, vibrant, saline and structured by deep energy and complex texture. The reds are rarer, delicate and aromatic, with cherry, strawberry and herbal infusion notes.
