Terroir & style
Musigny is a legendary Grand Cru of the Côte de Nuits, located in the village of Chambolle-Musigny. It spans about 10.86 hectares, with a tiny portion planted to Chardonnay (less than 1 hectare). The soils are brown limestone with marl, well-drained and east-facing. This exceptional terroir produces one of the most refined expressions of Pinot Noir in the world. The wine displays a deep ruby hue. The nose is floral and complex—rose, violet, black cherry, musk, and truffle. On the palate, Musigny is ethereal, velvety, and profoundly graceful, with restrained intensity. The rare white wines are of extreme elegance and rarity.

Food pairings
Perfect with hare à la royale, truffle-stuffed beef tenderloin, or Bresse chicken with morels.

Good to know
Musigny is the only red Grand Cru in the Côte de Nuits permitted to produce white wine as well—an extremely rare, under-the-radar gem.

Signature
Musigny represents the absolute nobility of Pinot Noir: floral elegance, depth, and serene power.
