Domaine Trapet Père et Fils is one of the most respected estates in Gevrey Chambertin and a major reference in the Côte de Nuits. The Trapet family has been established in the village since the early twentieth century and is known for its exacting viticulture and intimate understanding of Gevrey’s terroirs. Now led by Jean Louis Trapet, the domaine covers around fifteen hectares, including prestigious parcels such as Chambertin, Latricières Chambertin, Chapelle Chambertin and several notable premier crus. The vineyards have been farmed biodynamically for many years, with a strong focus on soil vitality, natural balance and perfectly harmonious ripeness. In the cellar, winemaking is precise and minimally interventionist, guided by a desire for transparency so the depth of the terroirs can fully shine through. Wines from Domaine Trapet Père et Fils are known for their finesse, purity, controlled intensity and highly elegant aromatic profile, offering deep, structured and luminous cuvées that stand among the finest expressions of Gevrey Chambertin.
