Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of the Rhône Valley’s historic names, founded in 1834 and long associated with some of the northern Rhône’s most iconic wines, particularly Hermitage La Chapelle. Since the estate’s acquisition by the Frey family, Jaboulet has seen a strong resurgence, combining modern precision with traditional sensibility. Northern Rhône syrah shows violet, blackberry, cassis, pepper, black olive and warm stone, with depth, structure and discreet but crucial freshness. La Chapelle, sourced from the finest granite parcels of Hermitage, is renowned for its complexity, density and exceptional longevity. The whites, especially Hermitage made from marsanne and roussanne, feature light honey, white flowers, dried apricot and a broad yet balanced palate. Jaboulet’s style rests on elegance, clarity and a steady pursuit of purity across the range.
