Domaine Jamet, based in Ampuis in the heart of Côte Rôtie, is widely regarded as one of the most authentic and pure expressions of the northern Rhône. Jean Paul and Corinne Jamet built their reputation on freshness, precision and a multi parcel approach that captures the full spectrum of Côte Rôtie’s schist, mica schist and granite slopes. The wines show violet, raspberry, blackberry, pepper, light smoke, black olive and warm stone. The palate is lifted, fresh and finely structured, with bright acid, firm yet delicate tannins and striking mineral energy. Over time, Jamet wines gain remarkable complexity, revealing floral, spicy and stony nuances. The style is defined by finesse, tension, aromatic clarity and a deeply honest expression of Côte Rôtie.
