Domaine Arlaud, located in Morey-Saint-Denis, is a family-owned estate founded in 1942 by Joseph Arlaud from Ardèche and Renée Amiot, a member of a Burgundian wine family. Their marriage brought together prime vineyard parcels in the Côte de Nuits, including Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin. Now managed by Cyprien Arlaud, the estate covers 15 hectares and is noted for its commitment to organic viticulture since 2004 and biodynamic practices since 2009, achieving certification in 2014—the first in Morey-Saint-Denis. The wines, ranging from regional appellations to Grand Crus like Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis, Charmes-Chambertin, and Bonnes Mares, are crafted with minimal intervention, utilizing indigenous yeasts, moderate new oak, and limited manipulation to preserve the pure expression of the terroir.
