Vosne-Romanée is one of the most prestigious villages in the Côte de Nuits, famed for its legendary Grands Crus and exceptional Premier Cru climats. The village appellation spans about 57 hectares, with another 58 hectares classified as Premier Cru. Vineyards lie between 240 and 310 meters in elevation on brown clay-limestone soils with good drainage and occasional marl or stony layers. Pinot Noir here produces wines of profound elegance and structure. The color is deep ruby. The nose reveals dried rose, black cherry, oriental spices, truffle and fine woods. On the palate, the wine is noble, dense and refined with precise tannins and long persistence.

Food pairings
Excellent with roasted pigeon, truffled sweetbreads or venison saddle with lingonberries.

Good to know
Bordered by Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vougeot, this appellation produces only red wines and is considered the heart of Burgundian Pinot Noir refinement.

Signature
Vosne-Romanée expresses calm nobility, controlled intensity and the enveloping sensuality of Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir.
