2020 was a solar, early and well-balanced vintage across most French wine regions. Following a mild winter and dry spring, harvests began early—often by late August—with healthy grapes and little disease pressure. Yields were moderate but grape quality was excellent, with ripe fruit, good acidity and natural concentration. Reds show density, ripe tannins and vibrant balance. Whites are clean, fresh and sometimes saline, with precise aromatics. Rosés are crisp, energetic and focused.
